YOUR ‘BOOK’ WILL SELL, BUT NOT EVERYONE WILL BUY IT Part-1
It really feels good to be back with Business Digest after six(6) weeks of my ANNUAL RECESS.
This is the first time I am taking this long recess in 10years and also the first time in the months of March and April. My recesses have usually been in August, but after 10years, I had to do something different. This particular Annual Recess was broken down into two major parts:
- Working Recess
- Resting Recess
One common denominator to both parts was that I was making money while resting. It was Warren Buffet who said, “if you don’t find a way to make money while you are asleep, you will work till you die” The import of the above quote is to mean that, create a system that will reward you and fund your lifestyle without you being physically involved.
INVEST! INVEST!! INVEST!!! I can’t say it enough.
It simply means you do not have thesame physical strength to keep on going as you grow older in whatever you are doing, but your system can make you earn far more even at your old age.
One of those many ways is Intellectual Property Investment. Write a book that will pay you for the rest of your life by strategically placing it where it will be seen and attract purchase from allover the world.
Your “book” in this context is being used synecdochically or metaphorically but could represent anything and many things for many people depending on the context. I will dwell more on this for the remaing days of the week.
I felt the impact that I was missed and many reached out, many even said it was too long, but I know you all meant well. Thank God we are back and better, the truth however is that Business Digest as a book is still selling well even though you haven’t gotten your own copy, but you can still get it for a token of ₦10,000 per copy.
