As I conclude on my taxes and taxation awareness this week, I want all MSMEs to listen candidly and carefully.

◆Go all out to get all the information about the new tax reform in Nigeria.

◆Process all information to applicable knowledge. 2026 will be tax-hot. 🔥 there will likely be more enforcement than ensuring compliance. The heat will even be hotter in 2027 when the financials will be prepared as at 31st December 2026, where the laws will be applied to tax filings

◆Wisdom demands that you apply the knowledge and begin implementation.

◆Don’t sit and wait for information to come looking for you, get up and get it. Attend trainings, free or paid, engage platforms, listen to news and I can tell you he who seeks shall find.

◆Engage a Tax Consultant and pay the professional fee required.

For my clients, since 2023, they don’t have to worry about tax issues, I keep them informed and when they see any information, they bring to my notice immediately.

Don’t let your ignorance cost you more than what should have been just a consultancy fee.
